Our Story
RentoBotics was founded by Jamie Falconi, a third-generation HVAC entrepreneur and owner of Metrowest Mini Splits — one of New England's fastest-growing heat pump installation companies. Jamie's grandfather started with coal and shifted to oil. His father left oil for solar. Jamie left oil to build a heat pump company. Now he's building New England's first humanoid robot rental company.
The pattern is the same across three generations: identify the energy and technology transition before it happens, build the infrastructure early, and serve the businesses that need it most. RentoBotics is that infrastructure for the robotics era in New England.
Our HVAC technical foundation isn't a coincidence — it's a competitive advantage. The electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, field problem-solving, and precision maintenance that make a great HVAC technician are exactly what humanoid robot service requires.
Professional Service
Before any robot is deployed, RentoBotics conducts a professional on-site evaluation of your facility. We assess six critical categories and deliver a written readiness report with a deployment recommendation. The $1,000 assessment fee is fully reimbursed upon signing a rental or purchase agreement.
Surface levelness, material type, raised transitions, drainage grates, and anti-fatigue mats — all factors affecting robot stability and gait cycles.
Doorway widths (minimum 32"), aisle clearances (48" recommended), door hardware type, and ceiling height throughout the operational area.
Illumination levels, temperature range, humidity, and visual conditions required for robot sensor systems and camera arrays to function correctly.
WiFi signal strength (-65 dBm minimum), network bandwidth, dedicated network segmentation, available power outlets, and charging station placement.
Human-robot interaction zones, emergency stop placement, Massachusetts OSHA compliance, staff training requirements, and insurance review.
Task definition, measurable success metrics, staff role planning during and after deployment, and integration with existing WMS or ERP systems.
